Disease...a blessing in disguise!

So this weekend was fall break and it was amazing. I had so much fun. On Friday night I watched the Panthers whip the Bearcats. I also got to see my best friend play football for the first time this season! I was so happy for him. After the game I went to Mikel's house and got on my pjs. Then Mikel finally gets home and he tells me that we are gonna go to a "party" with some people from work. So we go to Amanda's house and her parents were asleep. So Felicia says "lets just go driving around." And someone else says "Let Michael drive!" So i was driving Felicia's car. Nothing went wrong till a hose broke. (This is now the second time that I was driving someone else's car that died on me.) We got everything worked out. So that was Friday night.

Saturday: I did some homework. I also was part of an airsoft war with Christian and these two random guys that I don't know. It was ok. It wasn't as much fun as I was hoping. Then I hung out with Mikel and Felicia (mikel had to teach felicia how to drive the truck that is currently replacing the car that I destroyed). We went out to TaHa and I layed down in the middle of the baseball field to spend some time looking at the stars. After TaHa I had a great movie night with Crystal, Emilie, Brooke, and Allison. We watched the movie American Beauty. I hated it. It was really dark and it had a nasty impact, shaking me to the core.

Sunday: I stopped by Lou's and a couple of people had called in sick...so they asked me to work...so I said yes. It was a ton of fun. Sadly, Mikel was sick and tired so I asked the manager to let him go home. Thankfully the manager let him go home. I gave Mikel his b-day present (a little late) and he really liked it (i believe).

Monday and Tuesday: So Monday and Tuesday Mikel was sick. So I took care of him/ hung out like all day Monday and Tuesday. We spent all of our time facebooking, youtubeing, and watching stuff on TV. It reminded me of how we were hanging out this summer. Mikel also helped me learn my basic form for tae kwon do. (disease can be a blessing) Then I came home on Tuesday.

Today is Wednesday. Mo and I made some spaghetti (although Mo did most of the work). Then Mo made some amazing cookies!

That was fall break for me.

Weekend....................................................

So my weekend wasn't bad at all. On Friday my group and I worked on filming for a project thats worth about a quarter of our grade in two classes. Then on Saturday Mary and I went to our first Hockey game ever. The Mavs won 4 to 3. Thats right people...we kick butt. Anyway then came Sunday. I worked on my paper and power point for my presentation that I gave today in class. (I totally did a great job on my presentation by the way). The Molly came home! We hung out and Molly helped my by critiquing my paper and presentation.

Random thing that happened: so today in weight lifting i was on my last set and my arms died on me. The bar came down and i could feel it against my throat. My arms were able to hold it barely above my neck. Then my spotter tyler saved my life...kinda. I will explain it in person (my one reader), if you ask.

Any who, I really love riddles right? I just majorly dislike the fact that people can solve riddles like nothing and it takes me forever to figure them out. I do love a challenge though.

I have just found out: I LOVE the band OWL CITY! they totally rock. I really enjoy their song Hello Seattle. Look it up on YouTube sometime! I highly recommend it!

Life is good as usual. I'm still learning and growing. Random thought: I love not looking at my hands when I type. I'm used to looking all the time and every now and then I decide to try really hard not to look when i type.

Another random thought. I think I like having friends that are younger than I am. I love seeing them develop and learn about themselves. I also notice that, lately, i have been doing a lot of observing-of-the-self. I have been dissecting why I do what I do and why I think the way that I think.

I think that what I have said about sums up everything that has been going on lately. Have I ever said how much I enjoy blogging sometimes?

Another page of another chapter...

So midterms are coming up...and im doing pretty well. All I have to do is edit a paper, create a presentation, film a video, and study for a midterm quiz. I feel ok about it all.

Life is going on as always. I had a great weekend at home this week. I got to hang out with my best friend, spend some good time with my family, and i finished writing the rough draft of my paper.

I am really enjoying college life. I love the learning that is happening. I think that I will always be a student for life. I just love to expand what I know and learn about what has happened, what is happening, and what may happen in our world.
