An update...

I'm getting adjusted to this life they call college (who is they...the world may never know). I'm realizing that college is about time management. I have done a pretty good job so far, in my own opinion. It is weird not leaving class when a bell rings. It is also weird not having classes all in a row. Having an hour here or there between classes is nice. I have yet to get a job, but I am working on that. Once I get some income I can relax about spending money. Until that time I think that I will have to pinch my pennies.

I do still miss my friends back home though...i want to keep them for the rest of my life though! I will do everything in my power to make sure that we stay close to each other.

My classes:

Weight lifting: I am really enjoying this class. The teacher is very encouraging.

Computer class at PKI: Im doing ok. Its not too hard and its kinda interesting.

Taekwondo: Its TONS of fun (metric tons not english tons). The teacher is cool and I am learning how to fall properly.

World civilizations: Its a lot of work, but I enjoy the group discussions that we have.

World Lit: Even more fun than World Civ. and a little less work.

Honors Yoga: Yoga is sooooooooooo relaxing! I love it!

Math: I am currently in trig. Its not too hard, I just have to get used to not having a techer that I can ask questions to everyday.

...college life isn't so bad.

...my roommates are ok.

...i'm adjusting well to not seeing my best friend everyday (although I still love you my brother).

I can't wait for classes to start. My schedule isn't too full.

I hope that everything goes well. I guess that I will just have to wait and see how everything turns out.

Last Day Of Work

Well today is my last day at work at Lou's Thrifty Way! I'm kinda sad, but i am really excited for the free time (5 days) till i go to college.

College...i's coming up really fast. I'm excited but scared. How will my roomates and I get along? Will i starve to death? How much studying do i need to do? Can i keep my research papers up to Ms. Henre's standard? But the most important thing that I worry about...will I be able to keep close to my friends in Norfolk? I love my friends. Some of them have become family for me. I want to stay close to them even though I won't see them every week or every day. I'm worried about those relationships. I will do my best to keep in touch and visit often.

Also...watch Glen Beck and Red Eye on FOX. They are on at 1 am and 2 am, respectively. I love watching them. They are very funny and informative.

update...

ok so its been a weekish since i last posted on my blog so here is life...

the party....

my b-day party went fantastically well. I was worried that my friends might not get along b/c they come from different parts in my life. but everyone got along well and (as ms. cook would say) a good time was had by all.

work....

work is almost finished. My last day to work is the 14th. The time has been flying so fast. I can't believe that i leave 4 college in less than 15 days.

college...

im kinda psyched and nervous at the same time. I'm ready to go out and explore the world (i think) but i want to stay close with all my friends here at home. I'll have to see what the future will bring.

random...

i wish that i wasn't the only one left blogging. R any of you still there?????
